Like many students beginning their college journey, Emma started without having every detail of her future mapped out. What she did know was that she wanted an environment where she could grow academically while figuring out the path that was right for her.

鈥淪CC has helped me grow and explore what I鈥檓 passionate about,鈥� Emma shared. 

During her time at the college, Emma discovered the value of a supportive learning environment. With small class sizes and approachable instructors, she was able to ask questions, build relationships with faculty, and gain confidence in her abilities. 

Those experiences helped Emma see that college is about more than assignments and exams鈥攊t is also about discovering your strengths and building connections that support your goals.

As she continued her studies, Emma began to see how her time at SCC was shaping her future. Each class and new experience helped her develop skills that will benefit her both professionally and personally. 

Emma hopes her story encourages others who may feel uncertain about starting college.
